Ssssssssss

Seriously, I don't know HOW Karen spotted these among brown leaves. Any comments making fun of David will be DELETED.

Oh! Glen & Cheryl ~ I waved to you guys as I drove past the Centreville exit off I-66 on my way to and from Silver Spring, MD today. Had I not had another employee in my car I would have paid you a surprise visit. Maybe next time!

Karen: I am so sorry we didn't warn you about David a little better...but you were young and in love...would you have listened? He's oddly woosy and brave all at the same time and loves to take risks but then makes sounds like a scared little girl. Basically, he's nerdily cool.

Dave...would you please watch that video again and notice that your son Mark backed away and Anya is biting her fingernails?!?! WHat kind of father are you?

Too funny!

OK. I'm not coming back. You'll have to come to me. I'm not staying in a house with snakes in the backyard and with a FATHER who thinks it's cool to bring ANY snake inside. It's been nice.

Oh my son, you are crazy. And oh Karen, I love you more every day!

David, you da man. go get em. Way to show your kids to look at life and grab it by the neck. Actually, I'd be impressed if you bit its neck off. Go get it.

First of all, Hi to you, too. You are welcome anytime, and I'm just sorry we haven't seen you guys yet!

Second, even though it's disconcerting to find a snake, remember that they keep the animalitos away from your house, like mice. I haven't seen one here in the 7 years we've been here, but I don't think I'd bring him inside, either. You are brave, despite the shrieking. I have a good shriek myself--just ask Glen!

Okay, so we were driving up the road to get the boys from school yesterday...There is a 3 ft. long snake laying across the road. Do we run over it??? No! We get out and see all about it. Luckily, the boys weren't with me or I would have that sucker in my house at this moment. I believe in letting kids live life. I did happen to know it was just a black snake and harmless, unless it bit you, that might hurt but not dangerously.....

So I had to finish......They love all things slimy and gross. I have learned to live with it.

BTW--way to shriek Dave!

You are way more brave than me. I would have screamed like a girl (well you almost did. hey) and called animal control. :)
